Batch Auction Swaps
Your trade is matched inside a uniform-price batch auction every 60 seconds. No frontrunning, no sandwich attacks — just fair execution at the clearing price. All orders settle on-chain via CoW Protocol.
Trustless batch auctions, limit orders, and MEV-protected swaps — designed for New York traders who demand transparency and execution quality.
Your trade is matched inside a uniform-price batch auction every 60 seconds. No frontrunning, no sandwich attacks — just fair execution at the clearing price. All orders settle on-chain via CoW Protocol.
Place time-weighted average price orders that execute across multiple batches. Reduce market impact and achieve better average entry or exit. Fully on-chain with no centralized order book.
Every trade is shielded from maximal extractable value attacks. No frontrunners, no backrunners, no sandwich bots. Your slippage is fixed at submission — what you see is what you get.
Swap assets across Ethereum, Gnosis Chain, and supported L2s without leaving the Cow DAO environment. Unified liquidity, unified settlement, unified security model.
From wallet connection to settlement — four simple steps to execute your first Cow DAO trade.
Link your self-custodial wallet (MetaMask, WalletConnect, or any EVM-compatible provider). No registration, no KYC — just a signature to verify ownership.
Choose your input and output tokens, set the amount, and review the clearing price estimate. You can also configure a limit price or TWAP schedule for advanced orders.
Sign an off-chain message (EIP-712) to submit your intent. Your funds stay in your wallet until the batch settles — no pre-deposit required, no counterparty risk.
The batch auction solver matches your order with counterparties. Once settled on-chain, your output tokens arrive in your wallet. Track every transaction on Etherscan.
Cow DAO charges a small protocol fee (typically 0.1% – 0.3% per trade) that varies by token pair and liquidity conditions. The fee is deducted from the output amount at settlement. No hidden gas markups.
You pay Ethereum network gas only for the settlement transaction (one tx per batch). COW SWAP does not add any surcharge. On Gnosis Chain and L2s, gas costs are significantly lower — often under $0.10.
There is no fixed minimum trade size enforced by the protocol. However, for very small amounts (under ~$10 equivalent), the gas cost may exceed the trade value. We recommend trades above $50 for cost efficiency on Ethereum mainnet.
Open to all users globally. No KYC, no whitelist, no minimum balance. Users in New York and across the US can trade freely via the Cow DAO interface. Always verify local regulations regarding DeFi and self-custodial trading.
Answers to common questions about Cow DAO services, fees, and trading mechanics.
A batch auction collects all orders submitted during a fixed time window (60 seconds) and settles them simultaneously at a single uniform clearing price. This eliminates frontrunning, prevents sandwich attacks, and ensures that all traders receive the same execution price for the same batch. Unlike continuous order books, batch auctions create a fair and transparent trading environment where no participant has an information advantage.
Yes. Cow DAO uses a non-custodial settlement model. Your tokens remain in your wallet until the batch settlement transaction executes on-chain. You sign an off-chain intent (EIP-712) that authorizes the solver to include your order, but no funds move until the settlement is confirmed. If the batch fails or your order is not matched, nothing leaves your wallet. There is no deposit contract or escrow holding your assets.
Cow DAO supports a wide range of ERC-20 tokens across Ethereum mainnet, Gnosis Chain, Arbitrum, Optimism, and Polygon. Popular pairs include ETH/USDC, wBTC/DAI, COW/ETH, and many others. The full list of supported tokens is maintained by the community and updated regularly. If you need a specific token pair that is not listed, you can request it through the Cow DAO governance forum.
Before submitting your order, the interface shows you the estimated clearing price based on current batch liquidity and solver simulations. This estimate is a binding commitment — if the actual settlement price deviates beyond your configured slippage tolerance, the transaction reverts. You can also set a limit price to ensure your order only executes at or better than your specified rate. All settlements are publicly verifiable on-chain.
No. Cow DAO is a fully decentralized protocol with no central operator. You do not need to create an account, provide identity documents, or complete any KYC process. Simply connect your self-custodial wallet and start trading. However, as a US-based user, you are responsible for understanding and complying with applicable tax and regulatory obligations in your jurisdiction, including New York State virtual currency regulations.
Real feedback from traders using Cow DAO services in New York and beyond.
"I was tired of getting frontrun on every trade. Cow DAO batch auctions completely eliminated that. The execution is clean, the fees are transparent, and I finally feel like I'm trading on a level playing field."
"The TWAP limit order feature is a game-changer for institutional-sized trades. I can split a large swap across multiple batches and get a fair average price without moving the market. Highly recommended for serious traders."
"Switching to Cow DAO was easy. Connected my MetaMask and started trading in under two minutes. The MEV protection gives me peace of mind, especially when moving larger amounts. Only wish they had more altcoin pairs."
